About establishment for 2026 - 2027 of amounts of the tariff quotas concerning the separate types of the goods coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran and imported in the territory of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union
According to Article 2.3 of the Free-trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and its state members, on the one hand, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the other hand, of December 25, 2023 (further – the Agreement), section 1 of appendix 1 to the Agreement, article 35 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 and in execution of the order of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of November 29, 2024 SOLVED the No. 23 Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission:
1. Establish amounts of the tariff quotas concerning the separate types of the goods coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran and imported in the territory of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union (further – state members) according to the Agreement (further – the tariff quotas), for 2026 – according to appendix No. 1, for 2027 – according to appendix No. 2.
2. Determine that:
the rate of import customs duty in the amount of 0 percent from customs value is applied to the goods imported within amounts of the tariff quotas specified in appendices No. 1 and 2 to this Decision in the presence of the license granted by authorized body of state member and in case of observance of the conditions of provision of free trade regime established by the Agreement;
the tariff quotas are applied to the goods specified in the appendices No. 1 and 2 to this Decision placed under customs procedure of release for internal consumption;
in case of commodity importation in the quantity exceeding the amounts of the tariff quotas specified in appendices No. 1 and 2 to this Decision or in case of non-compliance with the conditions of provision of free trade regime established by the Agreement rates of import customs duties according to the Decision of Board of the Eurasian economic commission of January 14, 2025 No. 1 are applied.
3. To state members:
perform distribution of amounts of the tariff quotas specified in appendices No. 1 and 2 to this Decision between participants of foreign trade activity according to the legislation;
charge to authorized bodies of the executive authority to perform issue of import licenses of the goods specified in appendices No. 1 and 2 to this Decision;
in case of need of change of amounts of the tariff quotas established by this Decision to submit for review by the Eurasian economic commission of the offer on entering into this Solution of corresponding changes in the procedure established by the right of the Eurasian Economic Union.
4. This Decision becomes effective after 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
