About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About sanctions" concerning application of sanctions against courts, aircrafts
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About sanctions" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2014, No. 40, Art. 2018 with the following changes) the following changes:
1. The second Article 1 to state part in the following edition:
"2. Sanctions can be applied from Ukraine in relation to foreign state, the foreign legal entity, the legal entity who is under control of the foreign legal entity or physical nonresident person to foreigners, stateless persons, vessels, aircrafts, and also the subjects performing terrorist activities, and the sanction in the form of deprivation of the state awards - against any awarded persons specified in part four of article 3 of this Law".
2. In Article 3:
3 parts one to state Item in the following edition:
"3) decisions and regulations of the Council of the European Union on ensuring national interests and homeland security of Ukraine";
add with part five of the following content:
"5. The basis for application of sanctions also is factual determination of use of courts, aircrafts in the activities creating real and/or potential hazards to national interests, homeland security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine".
3. In paragraph one of part three of Article 5 of the word "stateless persons, and also" shall be replaced with words "stateless persons, vessels, aircrafts, and also".
4. The first and second Article 5-3 to state parts in the following edition:
"1. The state register of sanctions (further - the Register) is the information and communication system providing collection, accumulating, protection, accounting, reflection, processing and provision of information on all subjects, courts, aircrafts to which sanctions are applied.
2. The register is created for the purpose of provision of free public access to up-to-date and reliable information about all subjects, courts, aircrafts to which sanctions are applied".
