About introduction of amendments to the Law on quality of drinking water No. 182/2019
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Law on quality of drinking water No. 182/2019 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2020, Art. No. 1-2, 2), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:
1. To state formula of harmonization in the following edition:
"This law partially shifts:
– Items 7-9 of Article 2, Item (b) of part (1) and part (2) Articles 4, part (1) Articles 11, Item (a) of part (1) and part (3) Articles 12, Articles 15 and 16 of the Directive (EU) 2020/2184 of the European Parliament and Council of December 16, 2020 about quality of the water intended for the use by people (in the new edition), the text relating to EEP published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 435 of December 23, 2020, CELEX: 32020L2184;
– Items 2-4 of Article 2 and appendix I-III of the Directive 2013/51/Evratom of Council of October 22, 2013 about establishment of requirements for public health care for radioactive materials in the water intended for the use by people, published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 296 of November 7, 2013, CELEX: 32013L0051.".
2. Add Article 2 with the following concepts:
"approximate dose – the actual dose received by the person in year as a result of absorption of all radionuclides of natural and/or artificial origin which presence is revealed in source of drinking water, except for hyzone, potassium-40, of radon and short-lived products of disintegration of radon;
dangerous event – event which creates danger and does not allow to eliminate this danger from system of drinking water supply;
parameter size – value of microbiological, chemical and indicator indicators, and also radioactive materials which presence at drinking water represents risk for health of the person, resulting in need of taking measures to improvement of quality of water to the level conforming to requirements of health protection of the person from the point of view of microbiological and chemical safety and radiation protection;
