About establishment of the size of minimum wage over the country for 2025
Based on article 3 of the Law No. 1432/2000 on procedure for establishment and review of minimum wage (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, Art. No. 21-24, 79), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government
1. Establish since January 1, 2025 minimum wage over the country in the amount of 5500 lei a month at the average monthly duration of working hours of 169 hours that constitutes leu 32,54 in hour.
If according to the law duration of working hours constitutes less than 40 hours a week, the hour minimum wage is estimated proceeding from ratio of the minimum monthly salary provided by this Item and average monthly number of hours of working hours according to the approved operating mode.
2. Declare invalid the Order of the Government No. 985/2023 about establishment of the size of minimum wage over the country for 2024 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, Art. No. 465-467, 1151).
3. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2025.
