About approval of calculation of basic insurance premiums, adjusting factors and approximate awards on internal and external compulsory third party car insurance
Based on the Art. of 1 part (6) Item b), the Art. 12 parts (11) the Law 106/2022 on compulsory third party car insurance for the damage caused by vehicles (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2022, No. 129-133, the Art. 239), with subsequent changes, parts (6) the Art. X of the Law on modification of some regulations No. 214/2023 (ensuring transfer of powers according to the Law on modification of some regulations No. 178/2020), (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, No. 287-290, of the Art. 504), the Executive committee of National Bank of Moldova DECIDES:
1. Approve calculation of basic insurance premiums and adjusting factors on internal and external compulsory third party car insurance, based on the generalized statistical data at the market level for the last 5 consecutive years provided by the licensed insurance companies according to appendix No. 1.
2. Based on the size of basic insurance premium and adjusting factors established according to Item 1, to approve calculation of approximate awards for internal compulsory third party car insurance, according to appendix No. 2.
3. Based on the size of basic insurance premiums and adjusting factors established according to Item 1, to approve calculation of approximate awards for external compulsory third party car insurance, according to appendix No. 3.
4. Declare invalid the Resolution of the National commission on the financial market No. 25/2/2019 about procedure for representation, coordination and application of aktuarialny calculation of insurance premiums for compulsory third party car insurance (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2019, No. 209-216, the Art. 1095), registered in the Ministry of Justice at No. 1465 of 24.06.2019.
5. This resolution becomes effective within 40 days from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
