About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" concerning development of sport of veterans of war

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About physical culture and sport" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. 7, Art. 50 with the following changes) the following changes:

1. The seventh and eighth Article 6 to state parts in the following edition:

"The central executive body providing forming and realization of state policy in the field of social protection of the population and also the central executive bodies realizing state policy, in particular, in spheres of protection of the rights of children, improvement and rest of children, social protection of the population and implementation of the state supervision (control) of observance of requirements of the legislation by provision of social services and social support, promote development of physical culture and sport respectively in organizations of social protection of the population, rehabilitation institutions and organizations of improvement and rest of children.

The central executive body providing forming also realizes state policy in the field of social protection of veterans of war, persons having special merits before the Homeland, injured participants of Revolution of Advantage, members of families of such persons and members of families the died (died) veterans of war, members of families of the died (died) Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine:

provides development of sport of veterans of war, including by use of the operating network of organizations of physical culture and sport and involvement of local public administrations, local government bodies, public organizations of sports orientation, including national sports federations and sports societies;

will organize and holds in the territory of Ukraine All-Ukrainian and international sporting events and sports competitions in sport of veterans of war according to requirements of this Law, provides participation of official national teams from among veterans of war in the international competitions in sport of veterans of war;
