About approval of the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of acceleration of process of the entry of the Republic of Uzbekistan into the World Trade Organization, and also I decide reductions of the operating customs tariffs in compliance with the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Republic of Uzbekistan for increase in efficiency of application of rates of import customs duties and ensuring their transparency:

I. Purposes

1. Determine the main target indicators:

(a) maintaining codes of the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity (further - the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity) on the basis of rules of World Customs Organization and World Trade Organization;

(b) systematization of import customs duties and Commodity Nomenclatures of Foreign Economic Activity codes on the basis of the single document.

II. Measures of customs and tariff regulation

2. Approve the List of classification codes of the Commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity according to appendix No. 1*.

3. Make changes to the rates of import customs duties approved by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 29, 2018 No. PP-3818, according to appendix No. 2*.

III. Organization, providing and control of execution of the resolution

4. To the Cabinet of Ministers till July 1, 2025 in connection with enforcement of the updated Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity form to approve the inventory with the changed classification codes.

5. In view of modification and amendments in the Harmonized commodity description and coding system, since 2027 to implement practice of maintaining the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity together with customs tariff.
