About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About fundamentals of domestic and foreign policy" concerning forming of integrated approach to domestic policy in the veteran sphere
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About fundamentals of domestic and foreign policy" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2010, No. 40, Art. 527 with the following changes) the following changes:
1. In word preamble "economic, social and humanitarian spheres" shall be replaced with words "economic, social, veteran and humanitarian spheres".
2. Add with Article 10-1 of the following content:
"Article 10-1. Fundamentals of domestic policy in the veteran sphere
1. The basic principles of domestic policy in the veteran sphere are:
streamlining of the state veteran policy by recognition of outstanding role of veterans of war, injured participants of Revolution of Advantage in preserving the Ukrainian statehood, use of their potential, taking into account the gained military experience, in economic and social spheres of development of the state as element of the strategy of development for human capital;
non-admission of discrimination on any sign for the purpose of providing the rights and fundamental human freedoms and overcoming stereotypic ideas of irreversible changes in behavior of veterans of war owing to participation in fighting;
creation of effective system of determination of individual needs of veterans of war and support during their life after completion of military service;
