About entering of amendment and changes into the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the administrative responsibility

Now in the country the measures aimed at safety of the population in case of the treatment of wild animals and enhancement of procedure for their content are taken. The legislation establishes prohibition on content of some types of wild animals by physical persons.

This Law to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility makes the changes providing establishment of maintenance responsibility of the wild animals prohibited to content by physical persons in semi-free conditions to artificially created habitat or in bondage including the entailed damnification to human health, property of legal entities and physical persons, and also strengthening of responsibility for violation of rules of content of animals.

This Law will serve prevention of illegal content of the wild animals prohibited to content, observance of the requirements provided by procedure for content of pets and to safety of the population.

Article 1. To add 1) with Article 92-1 of the following content:

"Article 92-1. Content of the wild animals prohibited to content

Content of the wild animals prohibited to content by physical persons in semi-free conditions to artificially created habitat or in bondage, -

attracts imposing of penalty on citizens from five up to ten basic settlement sizes with confiscation of these animals.

The same offense which entailed damnification to human health, property of legal entities and physical persons in the absence of essential elements of offense, -

attracts imposing of penalty on citizens from thirty up to fifty basic settlement sizes with confiscation of these animals";

Article 110 to state 2) in the following edition:

"Article 110. Abuse of regulations of content of animals

Abuse of regulations of content of animals in the cities and other settlements, and is equal rejection by officials of measures for catching and content of ownerless animals -

attracts imposing of penalty on citizens from three to five, and on officials - from five up to ten basic settlement sizes.

The same offense which entailed damnification to human health, property of legal entities and physical persons in the absence of essential elements of offense, -

attracts imposing of penalty on citizens from ten to fifteen, and on officials - from fifteen up to thirty basic settlement sizes";

Article 2. Under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and to other interested organizations to provide to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of ecology, environmental protection and climate change, Committee of veterinary science and development of livestock production execution, bringing to contractors and explanation among the population of essence and value of this Law.

Article 3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

bring decisions of the government into accord with this Law;

provide review and cancellation by republican executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts contradicting this Law.

Article 4. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
