Now in the country the measures directed to maintenance and improvement of health of the population, the prevention and treatment of diseases, and also creation of conditions for ensuring health and wellbeing of people are implemented.
By the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About protection of public health" it is established that medical activities with use of methods of traditional medicine persons without medical education based on the conclusion of the Special commission on licensing of medical activities with use of methods of traditional medicine under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan have the right to occupation. At the same time in practice of health care use only of the methods of diagnostics and treatment allowed for use is allowed.
At the same time the legislation does not provide measures of responsibility for rendering to citizens services in medical diagnostics and their treatment by person who does not have the right to perform activities in the field of traditional medicine, and also services using the methods which are not permitted in the direction of traditional medicine for receipt of material values or property benefit. As a result of it citizens become the victims of lzhetabib, and effects of such services can negatively influence health of citizens.
