About modification and amendments in the Law "About the Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education"

Article 1. In Item 1 of part 4 of article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of December 14, 2004 "About the higher and postgraduate professional education" (further - the Law) the word "police officer" shall be replaced with words No. ZR-62 "with the highest professional educational programs of educational institution of authorized body of public administration in the field of internal affairs".
Article 2. In article 12 of the Law:
1) to exclude the words ", etc." from item 4 of part 1;
Part 1 to add 2) with Item 5 of the following content:
"5) educational complex, etc.";
3) regarding 2 words "police officer" shall be replaced with words "and authorized body of public administration in the field of internal affairs".
Article 3. In article 15 of the Law:
Part 2 to add 1) with the new paragraph of the following content:
"Features of structure, forming and activities of council of educational institution of authorized body of public administration in the field of internal affairs are established by the charter of educational institution.";
Part 4 after the words "to the rector's position." to add 2) with the new paragraph of the following content:
"Requirements and features of selection shown to the rector of educational institution of authorized body of public administration in the field of internal affairs are established by the charter of educational institution.";
To add 3) with part 9.1 following of content:
"9.1. The acting as the rector of educational institution of authorized body of public administration in the field of internal affairs is appointed by the head of authorized body of public administration in the field of internal affairs no more than one year, having signed with it the employment contract.".
