In recent years in our country large-scale work on further enhancement of traffic regulations, the prevention of the road accidents and control of traffic safety is carried out.
At the same time in connection with growth of popularity of small-size vehicles with electric motors and means of individual movement, there is need for acceptance of adequate measures according to the prevention of the road accidents connected with their use, and also determination of specific terms of the direction of the data on the fact of the road traffic offense fixed by means of the special automated means of photo and video fixing authorized to make decisions to officials.
This Law to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility makes the changes and additions providing establishment of the administrative responsibility for the offenses made during control of small-size vehicles with electric motors and individual vehicles and also implementation of procedure for the termination of administrative cases on the violations made with use of vehicles of emergency medical service and rescue and fire fighting divisions in order to avoid excessive bureaucracy.
Besides, it is determined that proceeedings about administrative offense cannot be begun if data on road traffic offense, fixed by the special automated means of photo and video fixing, it is not sent within forty eight hours to the person, the representative to issue decrees on imposing of penalty.
This Law will serve safety of movement on roads, to the prevention of the road accidents, and also protection of legitimate interests of citizens.
