About introduction of amendments to the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, special release of December 9, 2005), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. In Article 12:

2. In water part of part (1) Article 17 of the word "or to the stateless person", shall be replaced with words "or to the stateless person 18 years are aged more senior,".
3. Add Article 20 with part (3) the following content:
"(3) Item c Provisions) parts (1) are not applied to the persons who were born and living in the territory of the Republic of Moldova who petition for recognition by their citizens of the Republic of Moldova according to Article 12, if these persons correspond to legal conditions for recognition by their stateless persons.".
4. Item b) Article 28 to state in the following edition:
"b) considers applications concerning acquisition of nationality owing to recognition according to Article 12. Statements of the persons who are not answering to completely legal conditions for recognition by their citizens of the Republic of Moldova or falling under action of part (3) the same Article, deviate;".
