About approval of the General technical regulation about safety of soft drinks

According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About technical regulation", and also for the purpose of establishment of single requirements to safety of the DECIDES: Cabinet of Ministers soft drinks

1. Approve the General technical regulation about safety of soft drinks (further - the Technical regulation) and the scheme of its implementation according to appendices No. No. 1 and 2.

Enact the Technical regulation after eighteen months from the date of official publication.

2. Take into consideration that according to requirements of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About technical regulation" with enforcement of technical regulations the accepted earlier regulating documents on standardization on products specified in them and services lose binding character and acquire voluntariness of application in accordance with the established procedure.

3. To the Uzstandart agency together with authorized state bodies from the date of adoption of this resolution and before enforcement of the Technical regulation to take in accordance with the established procedure measures for cancellation of binding character and ensuring voluntariness in case of application of regulating documents on standardization of nonalcoholic products.

4. To provide to Uzbekozikovkatholding holding company, the Uzstandart Agency together with National broadcasting company of Uzbekistan broad informing the population, the ministries, departments and other organizations, and also subjects of entrepreneurship on the purposes, content and procedure for application of the Technical regulation.

5. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan concerning development of agrarian and food spheres Barnoyev U. I. and the adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the head of the department of questions of development of the industry and cooperation communications.

The general Technical regulation about safety of soft drinks

Chapter I. General provisions

§1. Purpose and scope

1. The general technical regulation about safety of soft drinks (further - the Technical regulation) establishes requirements to safety of soft drinks for the purpose of protection against harm of life and to health of the population, damage to property of legal entities and physical persons, the states, and also the environment.

2 The soft drinks given in the list according to appendix No. 1 to the Technical regulation are subjects to regulation of the Technical regulation.

3. The technical regulation extends on made and (or) being in circulation in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

soft drinks;

raw materials and components;

production processes (production), storage, transportation, realization and utilization of nonalcoholic products.

4. The technical regulation does not extend to products:

intended for baby food;

not intended for the address in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

issued for export.
