About introduction of amendments and changes in the Law "About Weapon"
Accepted by National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 23, 2022
Article 1. Part 1 of article 5 of the Law of July 3, 1998 No. ZR-246 "About weapon" (further – the Law) after the words "in the armed divisions" to add with the words "in Service of the state protection".
Article 2. In article 20 of the Law:
Shall be replaced with words 1) in the Item "d" of part 1 of the word "the director of Service of homeland security-employees of homeland security" "the director of Service of homeland security – employees of Service of homeland security";
To add 2) with part 1.2 following of content:
"1.2. Employees of Service of the state protection for long-term model and faultless service, and also for the significant and exclusive services rendered to the Republic of Armenia based on the written petition of the chief of Service of the state protection are awarded with weapon by the Prime Minister.".
Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the thirtieth day after its official publication.
