Article 1

Bring in article 56.2 of the Federal Law of July 7, 2003 No. 126-FZ "About communication" (The Russian Federation Code, 2003, No. 28, Art. 2895; 2019, No. 18, Art. 2214; 2021, No. 24, Art. 4188; No. 27, Art. 5147) following changes:

Item 9 to add 1) with subitems 5 and 6 of the following content:

"5) storage in the territory of the Russian Federation of information on the facts of acceptance, transfer, delivery and (or) processing of voice information, text messages, images, sounds, video or other electronic messages, and also other information on interaction of users of information systems and (or) programs for the electronic computers functioning in technological communication networks, owners or other owners of which have number of autonomous system, and information on these users - within three years from the moment of the end of implementation of such actions;

6) provision to the authorized state bodies performing investigation and search operations or safety of the Russian Federation, information specified in the subitem 5 of this Item, and other information necessary for accomplishment of the tasks assigned to these bodies, in the cases established by the Federal Laws. Structure of information which is subject to storage according to the subitem 5 of this Item the place and rules of its storage, procedure for its provision to the authorized state bodies performing investigation and search operations or safety of the Russian Federation are established by the Government of the Russian Federation.";
