About modification and amendments in the Law "About ID Cards"

Article 1. "About ID cards" (further – the Law) to state Item 2 of part 1 of article 2 of the Law of November 30, 2011 to No. ZR-286 in the following edition:
"2) the electronic database – the technical part containing electronic identification data of the citizen which characteristic is established by the order of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.".
Article 2. To state part 4 of article 4 of the Law in the following edition:
"4. The ID card includes technical part – the electronic database.".
Article 3. In parts 2 and 3 of article 8 of the Law of the word "December 31, 2022" in the corresponding case forms shall be replaced with words "on December 31, 2023".
Article 4. To add part 7 of article 8 of the Law with the new offer of the following content: "Provisions of this part extend to the ID cards having the electronic database.".
Article 5. This Law becomes effective since December 30, 2022. Since February 15, 2023 before adoption of the order of the Government, stipulated in Item 2 parts 1 of article 2 of this Law, ID cards will be issued without electronic database.
The ID cards issued before are valid, except as specified, established by part 1 of article 6 of the Law.
