About introduction of amendments to the Law "About Drugs and Psychotropic (Psychoactive) Substances"

Article 1. Regarding 1 article 40 of the Law of December 26, 2002 "About drugs and psychotropic (psychoactive) substances" (further – the Law) words of "bodies of inquiry" shall be replaced with words No. ZR-518 "the bodies performing investigation and search operations".
Article 2. Regarding the 2nd article 45 of the Law of the word of "Bodies of pretrial investigation and inquiry" shall be replaced with words "The bodies performing pretrial investigation and investigation and search operations".
Article 3. In Item 1 of part 6 of article 45.6 of the Law of the word "it is removed or extinguished" shall be replaced with words "is extinguished or cancelled".
Article 4. This Law becomes effective in day of entry into force of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of June 30, 2021 and the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 2021.
