About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About volunteer activities" on support of volunteer activities

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About volunteer activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2011, No. 42, Art. 435 with subsequent changes) the following changes:

1. In Article 1:

Part third to state 1) in the following edition:

"3. Volunteer activities are performed in the following directions:

rendering the volunteer help for the purpose of support needy, jobless, having many children, homeless, homeless, persons needing social resettlement and persons who are in difficult vital circumstances;

implementation of patient care, persons with disability, lonely, elderly people and other persons who because of the physical, material or other features need support and the help;

rendering the volunteer help to the citizens injured with emergency situation of technogenic or natural nature, action of the special period, legal regimes of emergency state and warlike situation, conducting anti-terrorist operation, implementation of actions for ensuring national security and defense, repulse and control of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, implementation of the actions necessary for ensuring defense of Ukraine, protection of safety of the population and interests of the state in connection with military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and/or other country against Ukraine, as a result of the social conflicts, accidents, and also to the victims of criminal offenses, refugees, internally displaced persons;

provision of the volunteer help to persons who because of the physical or other defects are limited in realization of the rights and legitimate interests;

holding the actions connected with environmental protection, preserving cultural heritage, the historical and cultural circle, historical and cultural monuments, places of burial;
