About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic of February 1, 2008 No. 541-IIIQ "About approval of "Provision on the identity document of the seaman" and "Specifications, the description and sample of the identity document of the seaman"

Millie Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, being guided by Item 10 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, decides:

Article 1. In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic No. 541-IIIQ of February 1, 2008 "About approval of "Provision on the identity document of the seaman" and "Specifications, the description and sample of the identity document of the seaman" (Collection of the legislation of the Republic). Azerbaijan, 2008, No. 3, Article 157, No. 10, Article 886; 2013, No. 7, Article 792; 2014, No. 11, Article 1348; 2019, No. 2, Article 188; 2020, No. 4, Article 393) to make the following changes:

1.1. By the "Provision on the identity certificate of the seaman" approved by the specified Law:

1.1.1. In Article 1 of the word "on the vessel (except the military)" shall be replaced with words "on the vessel used for commercial navigation (further - the vessel)";

1.1.2. add Article 1-2 of the following content:

"1-2. This Provision determines rules of issue, change, transfer of the identity document, recognition its invalid and introduction of information on the electronic medium (chip) of the identity document, and also use of this information.";

1.1.3. In Article 2 of the word "any, working as the seaman at the courts registered in the Azerbaijan Republic and used for the sea purposes" are shall be replaced with words "working or being the trainee on the vessel", the word "body" shall be replaced with words "the body (organization) determined by body".
