About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way and to terrorism financing

Article 1. Make changes and additions to the following legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1. In the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January 12, 2007 "About national registers of identification numbers":

to add Item 1 of Article 11 with subitem 3-6) of the following content:

"To 3-6) authorized state body performing financial monitoring and taking other measures for counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way, to terrorism financing, financing of distribution of weapons of mass destruction;".

2. In the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of August 28, 2009 "About counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way and to terrorism financing":

1) in Article 1:

state subitem 3-1) in the following edition:

"3-1) public official:

person holding responsible state position;

official;

person authorized on accomplishment of the state functions;

person performing managerial functions in the state organization or the subject of the quasi-public sector;

the person designated or elected, holding any position in legislative, executive, administrative, judicial bodies or armed forces of foreign state;

person performing any public function for foreign state;

person holding executive position in the organizations created by the countries on the basis of agreements which have the status of international treaties;";

add with subitem 3-2) of the following content:

"3-2) independent legal issues specialist - the physical person rendering legal services as independently, and as the partner or the worker based on the employment contract with the subject of the entrepreneurship giving legal aid;";

14) to exclude the subitem;
