About state regulation of civil aviation

This Law establishes legal and organizational basis of state regulation of activities of physical persons and legal entities in the field of civil aviation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. The basic concepts used in this Law

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

1) the certificate on aviaroute - the document for right to use of aviation route;

2) aviation services - the services of civil aviation connected with the organization and ensuring airborne transportations of passengers, baggage, loads and mails and accomplishment of aviation works;

3) aviation route (aviaroute) - the geographical description or combination of geographical descriptions of the land surface over which air traffic between Items of air transportation is performed;

4) the aircraft equipment - civil aircrafts, their equipment, components, engines, exercise machines and means of land servicing of civil aircrafts;

5) aviation personnel - the physical persons having professional training of aviation profile, performing activities for the organization of flights, traffic control of aircrafts, servicing of aircrafts, accomplishment of aviation works, and also for ensuring transportations, safety of flights or aviation safety;

6) civil aviation - the aircraft used for the purpose of:

a) transportations of passengers, baggage, loads and mails (airborne transportations);

b) accomplishment of aviation works;

c) holding training, sporting, cultural and educational events, development of technical creativity;

d) satisfactions of personal needs of the operator of the aircraft;

e) carrying out search and rescue and wrecking, assistance in case of natural disasters;
