About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About cotton growing"
Being guided by Item 24 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, in connection with application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About introduction of amendments to the Code of the Azerbaijan Republic about administrative offenses" of April 28, 2015 the Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic decides Millie's No. 1267-IVQD:
In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About cotton growing" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2010, No. 7, Article 576) to make the following changes:
1. Add Article 11.1 with the second offer of the following content:
"In the Azerbaijan Republic sale of cotton and the cotton products made with use of genetically modified plants, or materials of the agricultural plants created by modern biotechnological methods and methods of genetic engineering is not allowed.".
2. Add with Article 15.4 of the following content:
"15.4. In production and turnover of cotton and cotton products it is not allowed to use genetically modified plants, or materials of the agricultural plants created by modern biotechnological methods and methods of genetic engineering.".
3. Add Article 21 with the second offer of the following content:
"In Azerbaijani the Republic it is forbidden to import the cotton and cotton products made with use of genetically modified plants, or materials of the agricultural plants created by modern biotechnological methods and methods of genetic engineering.".
