About modification of the Standard regulations on the territorial commissions on human trafficking suppression approved by the Order of the Government No. 234/2008

The government DECIDES:

In the Standard regulations on the territorial commissions on human trafficking suppression approved by the Order of the Government No. 234/2008 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, Art. No. 47-48, 298), to make the following changes:

Items 1, 2 and 3 to state 1) in the following edition:

"1. For the purpose of implementation of article 9 of the Law No. 241/2005 on the prevention and suppression of human trafficking this Standard provision establishes procedure for forming of the territorial commissions on suppression of human trafficking, task and obligation, methods of cooperation of the territorial commissions with National committee on human trafficking suppression (further - National committee), Permanent secretariat of National committee, bodies of the central and local public authority, multi-profile territorial groups within National system of redirection for provision of protection and the help to the victims and expected victims of human trafficking, with national non-profit organizations and the international organizations, suppliers of social services, economic agents and religious faiths.

2. For coordination of activities for the prevention and suppression of human trafficking in areas, municipiums of Chisinau and Belts and in autonomous territorial education Gagauzia under executive body of local public authority the territorial commissions on human trafficking suppression are created (further - the territorial commission). The permanent secretariat gives help to National committee in coordinating and monitoring of activities of the territorial commissions.

3. The costs connected with activities of the territorial commissions will be performed within the means which are annually provided in local budgets and from other sources, according to the legislation.";
