In pursuance of the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of February 26, 2019 "About enhancement of public administration in the field of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation" the Government of the Russian Federation decides No. 78:

Approve the enclosed changes which are made to acts of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East and the Arctic (the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East of Russia) is the federal executive body performing in the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District functions on coordination of sales activity of the state programs and federal target programs, including long-term provided by the list approved by the Government of the Russian Federation (regarding programs and (or) actions of such programs realized in the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District), functions in the field of creation and functioning of the territories of the advancing social and economic development in the territories of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, function in management of the federal property located in the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District, according to the procedure and the limits set by acts of the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation on control of implementation by public authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation of the powers of the Russian Federation transferred to them in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, according to the procedure and the limits set by the legislation of the Russian Federation, and also function on development of state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.".

In the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 30, 2012 No. 664 "About the Ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East" (The Russian Federation Code, 2012, No. 28, Art. 3898; 2013, No. 45, Art. 5822; 2014, No. 2, Art. 124; No. 15, Art. 1750; 2015, No. 2, Art. 491; No. 14, Art. 2129; No. 15, Art. 2279; 2016, No. 28, Art. 4741; No. 52, Art. 7678; 2018, No. 33, Art. 5436):

a) in the name and Item 1 of the word "The ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East" shall be replaced with words "The ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East and the Arctic";

b) Items 2, 3 and 4 to recognize invalid;

c) in Regulations on the Ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East approved by the specified resolution:
