About enhancement of public administration in the sphere of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation

For the purpose of increase in efficiency of public administration in the sphere of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation I decide:

1. Rename the Ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East into the Ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East and the Arctic, having assigned to it in addition functions on development of state policy and normative legal regulation in the sphere of development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.

2. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of 21.01.2020 No. 21

3. To the government of the Russian Federation in 3-month time:

a) specify powers of the Ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East and the Arctic according to this Decree;

b) determine the number of federal government employees of the Ministry of the Russian Federation of development of the Far East and the Arctic according to this Decree;

c) provide in case of need holding reorganization actions according to this Decree;

d) provide offers on introduction of amendments to acts of the President of the Russian Federation according to this Decree;

e) bring the acts into accord with this Decree.

4. This Decree becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
