About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About tourism and tourist activities"

Article 1. "About tourism and tourist activities" (further - the Law) to state article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of December 17, 2003 to ZR-11-N in the following edition:

"Article 7. Committee on tourism

1. The policy in the field of tourism is performed by Committee on tourism (further - Committee).

2. The chairman of Committee directs committee.

3. Committee:

Develops 1) and represents to the corresponding minister of the offer on perspectives and the directions of tourism development, its material and social base;

2) cooperates with the ministries, bodies of territorial administration and local self-government, subjects of tourist activities for the directions of acceptance, servicing of tourists in the Republic of Armenia, the organization of tourist trips, forming of information base, development of development programs and implementation of marketing, conducts administrative statistics in the field of tourism;

3) promotes the organization and implementation of information, advertizing and publishing activities in connection with tourist activities;

Represents 4) to the corresponding minister of the offer on establishment of tourist regions, the centers, routes and objects and their inclusion in programs of resettlement and territorial development of the Republic of Armenia;

5) promotes forming of the favorable circle for attraction of national and foreign investments in the field of tourism;

Represents 6) to local government bodies of the offer on repair, improvement and content in proper condition of tourist regions, the centers and objects;

7) assists in preparation, retraining of personnel in the field of tourism and to increase in their qualification, implementation of research works in the field of tourism;
