About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About service in police"

Article 1. In article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia of July 3, 2002 ZR-401-N "About service in police" (further - the Law):
To replace 1) regarding 2 words "The President of the Republic of Armenia on Government Proposal of the Republic of Armenia" with the word "Prime Minister";
To replace 2) regarding 3 words "The President of the Republic of Armenia on Government Proposal of the Republic of Armenia" with the word "Government".
Article 2. In the Law of the word "police of the Republic of Armenia" and "state body performing functions of police" in the corresponding case forms to replace with the word "Police", the words "President of the Republic of Armenia", "Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia" and "Government of the Republic of Armenia" in the corresponding case forms - the words "President of the Republic", "Prime Minister" and "Government".
Article 3. To state part 2 of article 5 of the Law in the following edition:
"2. The highest ranks of police are highest military ranks which according to the proposal of the Prime Minister are given by the President of the republic.".
Article 4. Add the law with Article 5.1 of the following content:
"Article 5.1. Assignment of the highest ranks of police
1. The Prime Minister addresses with the offer on assignment of the highest ranks of police on own initiative or based on the petition of the chief of Police.
2. The proposal of the Prime Minister is submitted in writing and includes name, surname, middle name of person provided to assignment of rank, data on labor activity and rank.
