About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Law on pharmaceutical activities No. 1456/1993 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2005, Art. No. 59-61, 200), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes and additions:

1. In Articles 1, 51, 10, in parts (5), (6), (7) and (8) Articles 11, in part (1) Article 15 and in Article 23 of the word "Ministry of Health" shall be replaced with words "The agency on drugs and medical products" in the corresponding case.

2. Part (Article 8 to add 2) with the words "and to medical products.

3. Add the law with Chapter I-1 of the following content:

"Chapter I-1. Competent authority in the field of drugs, medical products and pharmaceutical activities

Article 9-1. The agency on drugs and medical products

(1) the Agency on drugs and medical products is body of the public power subordinated to the Government with the status of the legal entity competent of area of drugs, medical products and pharmaceutical activities exercising the state control and supervision of pharmaceutical activities of physical persons and legal entities irrespective of property type.

(2) Regulations on the organization and activities, and also structure and extreme number of the Agency on drugs and medical products affirm the Government.

(3) the Agency on drugs and medical products is headed by the director appointed to position and dismissed by the Government. With the activities the director is helped by one or several deputies selected on competitive basis according to the current legislation.".

4. In Article 11:
