About modification of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine concerning enhancement of mechanisms of providing tasks of criminal trial

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88) the following changes:

1. Third of Article 190 to add part with Item 2-1 of the following content:

"2-1) voluntary appearance of the suspect to the investigative judge, and the person accused in court about what the investigative judge, court notifies the prosecutor".

2. In Article 219:

1) part third after the words "about renewal of criminal proceedings" to add with words and figures "and also the term of acquaintance with materials of pre-judicial investigation by the parties of criminal proceedings according to the procedure, stipulated in Article the 290th of this Code";

To add 2) with parts four and heel of the following content:

"4. Aggregate term of pre-judicial investigation in case of consolidation of criminal proceedings according to the procedure, stipulated in Article the 217th of this Code, is determined:

1) in productions which were investigated in one period, - by absorption of smaller term big;

2) in productions which were investigated in different periods - by addition of terms of pre-judicial investigation on each of such productions which are not crossed, within terms of pre-judicial investigation of the crime providing the longest term of preliminary inquiry taking into account the possibility of its prolongation provided by part two of this Article.

5. The aggregate term of pre-judicial investigation calculated according to part four of this Article in the joint criminal proceedings is determined by the prosecutor specified in part four of article 295 of this Code about what it issues the relevant decree. In case of need along with calculation of aggregate term in the joint criminal proceedings the issue of its prolongation can be resolved".

3. In Article 280:
