About the state support of small business

This Law determines the legal basis of the state support of small business entities irrespective of pattern of ownership for the purpose of the fastest exit from economic crisis and creation of conditions for expansion of implementation of market reforms in Ukraine.

Article 1. Concept of small business entities

Small business entities are:

the physical persons registered in the procedure established by the law as subjects of business activity;

legal entities - subjects of business activity of any form of business and pattern of ownership in whom sredneuchetny number working for the accounting period (calendar year) does not exceed 50 people and the amount of annual gross income does not exceed 70 million hryvnias.

The Sredneuchetny number of working is determined taking into account all workers including working under agreements and in combination and also employees of representations, branches, departments and other separate divisions.

Article 2. Law coverage

Operation of this Law extends on the small business entities irrespective of pattern of ownership including performing activities in the field of agricultural industry.

Operation of this Law does not extend to confidential societies, insurance companies, banks, pawnshops, other financial and credit and non-bank financial institutions, subjects of business activity who carry out activities in the field of gaming, perform exchange of foreign currency, are producers and importers of excise goods, and also subjects of business activity in whose authorized fund the share of deposits belonging to legal entities - to founders and members of these subjects, not being small business entities, exceeds 25 percent.
