About entering of amendments into the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 (further – the Code) with Article 332.5 of the following content:
"Article 332.5. Intervention in activities of the notary
Intervention in activities of the notary, including, coercion to accomplishment of notarial actions or impact,
attracts imposing of penalty from two hundred multiple to five hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage, or arrest for a period of two up to three months.".
Article 2. Add the Code with Article 338.1 in the following edition:
"Article 338.1. Perjury at the notary
1. Giving perjury about truthfulness of the oral announcement made at the notary for the purpose of submission to court or other state body
attracts imposing of penalty from hundredfold to three hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage, or arrest for the term of not over two months, or imprisonment for the term of two years.
2. The same act which was made in the mercenary purposes attracts imprisonment for the maximum term five years.
3. Person is not subject to criminal liability if truthfulness of its oral announcement could not matter in court or other state bodies.".
Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
