About entering of amendment into the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 (further – the Code) with Article 184.1 of the following edition:
"Article 184.1. Causing damage to the pawnbroker
1. Intended destruction, concealment, alienation, spoil or reduction in worthlessness otherwise of pledged property which performed hindrance of realization of property rights of the pawnbroker and damage in four the thousandfold size of the minimum wage established in the Republic of Armenia was caused to it
attracts imposing of penalty from five hundred multiple to the thousandfold size of minimum wage.
2. The same act which was made by group of persons in prior consent or damage in the amount exceeding ten thousandfold size of the minimum wage established in the Republic of Armenia was caused to the pawnbroker
attracts imposing of penalty from the thousandfold size of minimum wage, thousandfold to two, or arrest for the term of not over three years.
3. Person who made the acts provided by this Article is exempted from criminal liability if he indemnifies damage caused by crime.".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
