Article 1. To add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of April 18, 2003 (further – the Code) with Article 243.1 of the following content:
"Article 243.1. Vehicle control by person deprived of the right of vehicle control, either vehicle control by drunk these persons, or refusal or evasion of passing of estimation of state of intoxication
1. Vehicle control by person deprived of the right of vehicle control
attracts imposing of penalty, from two hundred multiple to three hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage.
2. Drunk vehicle control by person deprived of the right of vehicle control, either refusal or evasion by this person of passing of estimation of state of intoxication
attracts imposing of penalty, from three hundred multiple to five hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage, or imprisonment, for a period of six months up to one year.
3. The drunk condition established by this Article is determined according to part 9 of article 126 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Armenia.".
Article 2. In the title and part 1 of article 325 of the Code of the word "the state registration plates" shall be replaced with words "registration registration plates".
Article 3. This Law becomes effective since January 11, 2016.
