Article 1. (On April 18, 2003) to add the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia with Articles 332.1 and 332.2 of the following content:
"Article 332.1. Hindrance to implementation of powers of the defender of human rights
Intervention in any manner in activities of the defender of human rights for the purpose of hindrance to implementation of its powers:
attracts imposing of penalty, from two hundred multiple to four hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage, or arrest for a period of one up to three months, or imprisonment, for the maximum term two years.
Article 332.2. Threats to the defender of human rights or manifestation to it the disrespectful relation
Threats or insults or manifestation of the disrespectful attitude towards the defender of human rights, in connection with implementation of its powers:
attracts imposing of penalty, from two hundred multiple to five hundred multiple sizes of minimum wage, or corrective works for a period of one up to two years, or arrest for a period of two up to three months.".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective next day after official publication.
