About introduction of amendments to the Law on provision of pensions of the military personnel and persons of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies No. 1544-XII of June 23, 1993

Art. I. – In the Law on provision of pensions of the military personnel and persons of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies No. 1544-XII of June 23, 1993 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, Art. No. 247-251, 752), with subsequent changes and amendments to make the following changes:
1. Recognize Article 10 invalid.
2. 48, of 49, 52 and 58 to state Articles in the following edition:
"Article 48. Purpose of pensions
Pensions to the military personnel of conscription service, to the military personnel performing service under the contract, faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies and penal system, officers of protection and the staff of the state security agencies, the National center for fight against corruption and members of their families are appointed by National cash desk of social insurance according to the procedure, established by the Government.
Article 49. Request for award of pension
(1) the Military personnel of conscription service, the military personnel performing service under the contract, faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies and penal system officers of protection and the staff of the state security agencies, the National center for fight against corruption and members of their families submit the application for award of pension to body of social insurance.
(2) the Decision on award of pension or on refusal in its appointment is taken out by body of social insurance in 30-day time from the date of receipt of the statement with all necessary documents.
(3) Organa of social insurance have the right to exercise control of reliability of the documents issued by authorized bodies confirming length of service and earnings (cash allowance).";
