About modification and amendments in the Code about elections No. 1381-XIII of November 21, 1997

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. – In the Code about elections No. 1381-XIII of November 21, 1997 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1997, No. 81, of the Art. 667), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. State preamble in the following edition:

"The will of the people is government basis. This will finds expression in the free elections held periodically on the basis of general, equal and direct suffrage in case of secret and free vote. The state guarantees freedom of declaration of will of citizens by protection of democratic principles and regulations of the voting right. 2. In Article 1:
