About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About diplomatic service"

Article 1. In article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "About diplomatic service" (ZR-249 of October 24, 2001, further – the Law):
Part 1 to state 1) in the following edition:
"1. Bodies of diplomatic service of the Republic of Armenia are:
a) office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia,
b) the allocated divisions of the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia,
c) the structural divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia operating in foreign states (the bodies of diplomatic service operating in foreign states):
- Embassies of the Republic of Armenia,
- permanent missions of the Republic of Armenia in the international organizations,
- consular establishments of the Republic of Armenia.",
The word of part 2 "in Item" to replace 2) with the word "in part".
Article 2. Regarding 1 article 7 of the Law of the word "which manages foreign affairs of the Republic of Armenia" shall be replaced with words "which under the common directorship of the President of the Republic of Armenia develops and performs policy of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the field of foreign affairs".
Article 3. To state part 4 of article 8 of the Law in the following edition:
"4. The secretary general is the chief of staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and provides continuity of diplomatic service. The position of the Secretary general is the highest position of diplomatic service.
The secretary general is appointed in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.".
