Article 1. Article 24-26 of the Penitentiary code of the Republic of Armenia (of December 24, 2004, further - the Code) to state in the following edition
"Article 24. Execution of penalty
1. Execution of penalty provides this territorial authority of criminal and executive service of the place of residence of person condemned to penalty (further in this Chapter - the convict) – division on execution of the punishments which are not connected with imprisonment.
2. The convict shall after the introduction of the court verdict in legal force without delay and completely pay the amount appointed by the court verdict as penalty, having provided the receipt of payment to body of execution of the punishment.
Article 25. Impossibility of payment of penalty and effect of it
1. Court, according to the petition of the convict, considering circumstance of impossibility of immediate or complete payment of penalty to convicts, establishes for it payment due date no more than one year or permits to pay penalty in parts in the same time. The specified privilege loses force if the convict timely does not pay part or parts of the appointed amount, and unexpired part of punishment is replaced with social jobs according to the procedure, stipulated in Clause the 26th this Code.
2. Taking a legal action with the petition for postponement or payment by installments of payment of penalty the convict shall prove circumstance of impossibility of payment of penalty, and also in case of need, for the purpose of clarification of its financial position, to make the corresponding explanations.
Article 26. Nonpayment of penalty and effect of it
1. In case of nonpayment of penalty it is replaced with social jobs, with term and according to the procedure, established by the criminal code of the Republic of Armenia.
