I. Bring in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, No. No. 9-13, of the Art. 88) the following changes:
1. State Article 170 in the following edition:
"Article 170. Property attachment
1. Seizure of property is temporary, before cancellation in the procedure established by this Code, deprivation according to the decision of the investigative judge or court of the right to alienation, the order and/or use of property concerning which there are good causes to believe that it is subject, means or the tool of crime execution, in the polichny, acquired criminal way, the income from the committed crime, received for the income account from the committed crime or can be confiscated from the suspect, the person accused, the convict or the legal entity to whom measures of criminal and legal nature can be applied, or can be subject to special confiscation concerning the third parties, the legal entity or for providing the civil action. The seizure of property is cancelled in the procedure established by this Code.
Task of seizure of property is prevention of possibility of its concealment, damage, spoil, destruction, transformation, alienation.
2. The purpose of seizure of property is ensuring criminal proceedings, providing the civil action in criminal proceedings, ensuring confiscation or special confiscation. The arrested can be the property which owns, the suspect, the person accused, the convict, the third parties, the legal entity to whom measures of criminal and legal nature for the decision, the court order, the investigative judge can be applied uses or disposes.
