About modification of the Code of civil procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. To state Article 18 of the Code of civil procedure of the Republic of Armenia of June 17, 1998 (further – the Code) in the following edition:
"Article 18. Transfer of disputes to arbitration
The dispute, cognizable to court, to the conclusion of the court resolution solving it in essence with the consent of the parties in the procedure established by the law or in the cases established by the international treaty of the Republic of Armenia, can be transferred to the award of arbitration.".
Article 2. To state Item 3 of article 103 of the Code in the following edition:
"3) one of the parties refers to the agreement between the parties (the arbitral agreement) on transfer to arbitration the decision of this dispute, and opportunity to appeal to Arbitration Court based on this consent is not lost, except for if availability of the arbitral agreement in the cases established by the law does not limit the right of the parties to take a legal action.".
Article 3. This Law becomes effective for the tenth day after official publication.
