About modification and amendments in the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In Article 6 of the Code of penal procedure of the Republic of Armenia of July 1, 1998 (further - the Code):

Shall be replaced with words 3) in Item 26.2 of the word "investigators of the state authorized body in the field of defense" "employees of the Investigative Committee".
Article 2. To state the text of article 189 of the Code in the following edition:
"Pretrial investigation on criminal cases is performed by investigators of the Investigative Committee, special investigative service, homeland security, tax or customs authorities.".
Article 3. In article 190 of the Code:
1) in parts 1 and 2 the word of "police", and in part 5 of the word of "Ministry of Defence" shall be replaced with words "Investigative Committee";
To add 2) in the second paragraph of part 6 after the words "as the victim" with words ", and also any other criminal case if there is need of guaranteeing the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation caused by its actual circumstances";
3) to add part 6.1 following of content:
