About veterinary science

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
animal there are farm, domestic, wild, zoo, circus, laboratory animals, fur animals, domestic and wild birds, fishes, Crustacea, bees, the impregnated caviar, embryos, incubatory egg, silkworm and others;
veterinary science - the field of scientific and practical works performing complex actions for the prevention, treatment of diseases of animals, reducing losses, infertility and case from diseases, to improvement of quality of products and raw materials of animal origin, prevention of diseases, general for people and animals and fight against them;
veterinary activities - the activities of legal entities and physical persons directed to prevention of diseases of animals, protection of the population against diseases, general for people and animals, the prevention of epizootic situations and receipt of animal products, high-quality from the point of view of veterinary health requirements;
veterinary service - the public, non-state institutions, the companies and individual entrepreneurs performing veterinary activities;
veterinary specialists are the veterinarians and veterinary paramedics who are carrying out work on diagnostics, prevention of diseases of animals, improvement and treatment of livestock of the cattle, unsuccessful settlements, farms, and also rendering services in veterinary and sanitary examination of products of livestock production and other veterinary services;
veterinary rules - the veterinary rules corresponding to this Law regulating activities of legal entities and physical persons in the field of veterinary science;
