About entering of amendments into the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About investments in the Kyrgyz Republic"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About investments in the Kyrgyz Republic" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2003, No. 7, the Art. 252) the following amendments:

1. Add Article 1 with Items 4-1 and 4-2 of the following content:

2. Add Chapter 2 with Article 11-1 of the following content:

"Article 11-1. The investment agreement signed by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic

The government of the Kyrgyz Republic has the right to sign the investment agreement for implementation of the investment project according to state programs of development in priority industries of economy and the social sphere if the investor acts as the initiator of implementation of the investment project. The investment agreement can be signed by direct negotiations between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the investor if the amount of the investments into the investment project performed by the investor constitutes at least 50 million US dollars and provided that the investor has the conventional international goodwill, unique knowledge and experience of successful projects implementation in similar field of activity.
