About additional measures for development of the foreign exchange market of the Republic of Uzbekistan
For the purpose of ensuring internal converting national valyutysuma, creating favorable conditions for attraction of foreign investments the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Determine that in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan since October 15, 1994 all payments and calculations between legal entities and physical persons - residents and nonresidents of the Republic of Uzbekistan - shall be made only in national currency - sumach except as specified, stipulated by the legislation.
Physical persons of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign states have the right in accordance with the established procedure to receive funds from the currency accounts and deposits in banks, and also percent on them in foreign currency or bags. For carrying out settlement in the territory of the republic to recommend to open for legal entities settlement accounts in sumach in authorized banks.
2. Prohibit since October 15, 1994 in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan trade and rendering services, including to foreign citizens, for the freely convertible currency (FCC) except as specified, stipulated by the legislation.
To the trade enterprises and the organizations, other legal entities and physical persons enabling sales of goods, acquired for hard currency to specify in price labels retail price of goods in hard currency and without fail to hang out indexes of the operating exchange rates of currencies.
3. Recommend to the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan to take measures for expansion of number of authorized banks and members of the Uzbek republican currency exchange, every possible growth in volumes of turnover of currency. Recognize reasonable participation in the biddings on currency exchange of legal entities and physical persons through the relevant authorized banks.
