The legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on elections of deputies to local Majlises of People's Deputies is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and consists of this constitutional Law, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, and also the international legal acts recognized by Tajikistan.".
4. In Article 2:
- state part one in the following edition:
"Elections of deputies to Majlises of People's Deputies of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the city of Dushanbe, the cities and areas are general. The citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan who reached by the election day of 18-year age have the right to choose and be elected, irrespective of nationality, race, floor, language, religion and political line items, social position, education and property.";
- in part three shall be replaced with words the word of "power" "government".
5. In Article 3 of the word "on an equal basis" shall be replaced with words "on the equal legal basis".
