About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About compulsory insurance"
Being guided by Item 27 of part I of article 94 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic, for the purpose of approval of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About compulsory insurance" with the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About modification of the Civil code of the Azerbaijan Republic" of October 29, 2013 the Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic decides Millie's No. 804-IVQD:
In the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About compulsory insurance" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2011, No. 9, Article 788; 2013, No. 7, Article 776) to make the following changes:
1. Add with Articles 6.7 and 6.8 of the following content:
"6.7. Any person having insurance interest in connection with property to which the damage as a result of insured event on property insurance is caused is recognized to the victims irrespective of whether it is owner of this property.
6.8. As a result of insured event on personal insurance by the victim person to whose health harm is done, and in case of his death - members of his family is recognized.".
2. Add Article 17.4 with the second offer of the following content:
"Authorized state bodies shall provide any information which is not prohibited by the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About receipt of information" and requested in connection with insured event according to the written request within 10 days from the moment of receipt of request.".
3. To consider the test of Article 18 Article 18.1 and to add with Article 18.2 of the following content:
"18.2. If the insurer does not pay insurance indemnity during term, the stipulated in Clause 18.1 presents of the Law, he pays penalty in the amount of percent 0,1 from the amount of insurance indemnity for each overdue day.".
