About modification and amendments in the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. Regarding 1 Article 69 of the Civil code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 1998 (further - the Code) the words "in press organs in which data on state registration of the legal entity, the publication are published" shall be replaced with words "the announcement on the official website of public notifications of the Republic of Armenia to the address: http://www.azdarar.am".
Article 2. To add Chapter 69 of the Code with Article 1166.1 of the following content:
"Article 1166.1. Trade name
1. The trade name is name under which the commercial organization performs the activities and in which differs from other legal entities.
2. The trade name shall contain the words characterizing form of business of the legal entity, and at least one designation of distinctive value – special designation (proper name, the name of the area or the symbolical name), common or fictitious name or priority of letters.
3. The trade name of economic partnership shall contain the words "complete partnership" or "partnership based on trust" and names of all participants (complete companions) of partnership or at least name (name) of one of participants (complete companions) of partnership with addition of the words "and companions" and "complete partnership" or "partnership based on trust".
4. The commercial organization shall use the corresponding words which are also provided by the law in the name.
5. The trade name of trade cooperative shall contain specifying about main objective of its activities.
6. The trade name of the legal entity is determined under organization or reorganization of the legal entity and is registered (changes) in the procedure established by the law.".
Article 3. To state article 1167 of the Code in the following edition:
"Article 1167. Exclusive right on trade name
