About entering of amendment into article 60 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova No. 985-XV of April 18, 2002
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - Part (8) article 60 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova No. 985-XV of April 18, 2002 (repeated publication: 2009, Art. No. 72-74, 195), with subsequent changes to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with words ", irrespective of date of their making.".
Art. II. - In departure from provisions of article 60 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova the prescription of criminal prosecution is not applied to persons who committed the crimes connected with authority misuse or abuse of official position, with exceeding of the power or exceeding of office powers or with office negligence during the events on April 7, 2009 or in connection with these events on which on the date of entry into force of this law prescriptive limit of criminal prosecution did not expire.
