Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan of December 13, 1996 "About legal status of the deputy of Majlis of People's Deputies of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the city of Dushanbe, cities and areas" (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 1996, No. 23, Art. 348; 2008, No. 12, h 2, Art. 995; 2013, No. 7, Art. 541), following changes and amendments:
1. To designate the name of the Law capital letters.
2. Add the law with preamble of the following content:
"This Law determines the rights, obligations, activities and guarantees of the deputy of Majlis of People's Deputies of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the city of Dushanbe, cities and areas.".
3. To add the law before Article 1 with the following words:
"CHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS".
4. In Article 1:
- in word part one "regional, city and district (further regional, city and district) Majlises" shall be replaced with words People's Deputies "areas, the city of Dushanbe, the cities and areas (further the deputy of Majlis of People's Deputies)";
- in word part two "regional, district and city" to exclude;
- in word part three of "regional, city and district Majlises" to replace with the word of "Majlis".
5. In the name and the text of Article 2 to replace the word of "Majlises" with the word of "Majlis".
6. In part four of Article 3 of the word "invalid in the respective constituencies" shall be replaced with words powers of certain deputies "powers of the certain deputy invalid in the respective constituency".
